Glomar Offshore’s voyage towards a sustainable future

16 / 04 / 2024 Back to all updates

Here we see our Safety Standby Vessel Glomar 4-Winds last month, in the process of having a DISCOM emission reduction system installed aiming for NOx emissions lower than 2,29 grams per kWh, which is well within IMO Tier III limits. The system has been commissioned succesfully and she is back at sea ensuring the safety of our clients offshore. Next month our Glomar Venture will receive a similar emission reduction system and we are fully intent on applying this modification to the other Standby Vessels within our fleet!
Aside from this project, we initiated a fleetwide move to HVO30 Bio fuels which decreases our CO2 emissions by almost 30%.
By taking these steps we truly believe we are doing our part in creating a more sustainable future together with our partners and clients.
